Dr. Amy Louis-Bayliss

Dr. Amy Louis-Bayliss has been an MD for almost 20 years, spending most of her career as an Emergency Medicine specialist. She is an advocate for women’s healthy aging – her interest in menopause and healthy aging stems from years of treating and managing disease in the ER once it was already “too late”. Pivoting careers, Dr. Louis-Bayliss has spent the last two years training and working as a menopause specialist in Hamilton & Oakville. She has her Menopause Society Certified Practitioner designation from the North American Menopause Society and sits on the advisory board for the National Menopause Show. She is passionate about educating women to build self-agency when it comes to disease-prevention. Dr. Louis-Bayliss walks her talk, literally – be it hiking and skiing on weekends with family, convening neighbourhood friends for weekday strength training and upgrading work meetings to “walk meetings” whenever and wherever possible.
